N.S.D.A.P. Leaders Reich-Level peaked cap. Fine quality tricot top. Celluloid sweat diamond, leather sweat band, brown cap band with gilt piping & the gilt bullion wreath is embroidered into cap band. Brown japanned vulcan fibre peak, gilt buttons, cap cord.
In November 1942 an order was issued to replace the swastika cockade with the standard Armed Forces national cockade.
The firm of Ad. Baumeister, Lüdenscheid produced a silvered swastika cockade with a red backing fabric mounted on a black fluted base.
