Items which carry the Third Reich emblems of organisations of that time: - We  do not send these emblems to Germany, Austria, France & Belgium. Order caps & uniforms, but do not select the addition of badges that show these symbols.

Terms of business:- Unless otherwise stated, all items for sale of this web-shop are reproductions. All prices and descriptions of the goods offered for sale on  this web-shop are current and may change without prior notice.

Payment - We accept:- Credit card, Debit card, Bank transfer, Bankers draft, Cheque & Cash. Payment must be made in GB Pounds (GBP Sterling, £). If you have used our 'currency converter' this is a guide only & must be reverted back to GB Pounds before proceeding to checkout. Money transfer. For quick & easy money transfers & for good currency conversion rates & low fee, cut & paste this link -  https://wise.com/ Bank Transfer. To ensure that we receive the full payment, you must pay any fees levied by your or intermediary Bank. Bankers draft. GBP Sterling only. Cheque. Issued by U.K. Banks only. Cash. Order confirmation:- An automatic order confirmation will be generated by our checkout. This confirmation is an acknowledge of receipt of your order and do not constitute an acceptance of the order. If for any reason we decide not to accept your order, we will advise you accordingly and any payments refunded in GB Pounds via your initial payment method.

Availability of goods:- All goods advertised as "in my stock" will be posted within 3 days of payment being received or funds being cleared into my bank account. This period will be extended during our annual holiday periods, UK public holidays etc.

All insignia items are in stock, (unless otherwise stated) and will be posted within 3 days of payment being received or funds being cleared into my bank account.

Caps are bespoke, i.e. hand made when ordered and can approximately 16 weeks for completion. Note, that it does not take 16 weeks to produce your order but caps are made in rotation of date received by a professional hat maker, using original machines and methods. Therefore, depending on how full Michael Jankes' order book is, they may be completed sooner. Special production orders may take longer & orders placed during & including national holidays will also take longer. By placing your order you accept & agree to these terms. Please do not order if you are not prepared to wait.

In stock items ordered with made when ordered items will be posted together when your order is complete. If you wish to receive in stock items sooner, order separately.

Description of goods:- Items described as:- Gold, Silver, Bronze, Aluminium, Gilt & Diamonds relate to colour or the grade of a medal or award and also the colour of buttons, piping etc., and do not imply precious stone value or metal content.

Shipping address and charges:- We do not post to any South American country. Goods will only be posted to the address confirmed to the Credit Card billing address. Postage charges are automatically calculated via the 'shopping basket' during checkout & posted by our normal delivery method - E&OE.

Insurance:- We post orders world wide with the exception of all South American countries, using the minimum insurance level of 50.00 GBP. If you require full insurance - email us before ordering for a quote. Orders sent with a value over the minimum insurance level are sent at the customers own risk of loss or damage during transit.

Low value insignia weighing up to 100gms will be sent via standard post & not tracked nor insured. If you require fully tracked / insured - email for price.

Returns and refunds:- In the unlikely event of you being unhappy with your purchase or if the item(s) are faulty, email us within 7 days to discuss your issue. If agreed, you can return the item(s) for exchange or refund. Our returns policy will not apply to:- Completed extreme size productions, customer 'special request' orders and modifications to catalogue items. Unwanted goods or goods ordered in error - If agreed, you can return the item(s) for exchange or credit against a future order(s). A 20% re-stock charge will be levied for this service & the parcel must be clearly marked as 'Returned goods'. If not or if any import duty charges are levied, this will be deducted from the credit or must be paid along with new postage cost prior to a replacement being sent. Goods must be returned in the same condition & packaging as sent, being unaltered in any way. 

Cancelled orders:- If we agree to cancel your order, 50% of the item(s) price will be levied for any bespoke (made when ordered)  cap within 3 working days of order being made & payment cleared into our Bank account. Items are cut by the pattern cuter within this time & passed on to join the queue for completion. All garments & caps not marked as "in my stock" are bespoke.

Credit Card:- Unless faulty, Bespoke orders are not covered by Credit Card rules. All refunds will be made in GB Pounds Sterling.

We reserve the right to refuse an order if there has been a typographical error in the pricing or descriptions shown in our website listings. Or an electronic failure in the pricing of specific items or the total value of goods and shipping.
